WHAT THE FRANCHISOR CAN OFFER

TRAINING: A Six-day training programme will be given at our premises in Cape Town . You will be trained in all aspects of the manufacturing and rental of candles and stands. Training will also involve customer relationships and the infrastructure of your business. The Franchisor is always available to assist you in any questions that might arise.

MARKETING : The Franchisor will cover national advertising in the media. We will also assist you in the planning and lay out of your own local advertising.

SUPPORT : Your Success is our success. Our network of Franchisees countrywide assures that support is not far away. This also ensures that a large variety of stands and candles are always available. We can thus satisfy our clients every need. Our vast experience enables us to assist you in any support you may need. As we can supply everything ourselves you will never find that you are out of stock and unable to resolve the situation. Help is always at hand !!.

WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM THE FRANCHISEE

The FRANCHISEE undertakes to run RENT-A-CANDLE on a full time basis and to expand the business to a full-fledged function rental service. Such service will incorporate all aspects and services directly or indirectly involved with functions, including the catering trade. No other business may be run from the premises except if the FRANCHISOR agrees to this in writing to the FRANCHISEE . Should this permission be granted by the FRANCHISOR , it is understood that such business shall be incorporated into the RENT-A-CANDLE Franchise operation.

FEATURES OF THE FRANCHISE AGREEMENT

DURATION OF THE CONTRACT: This is a franchise you purchase in your own name for life, providing the Franchisee upholds the conditions in the contract. After three years, the development and growth of the business is re-assessed and continued or the franchise can be resold.

THE RENT-A-CANDLE VISION

To establish RENT-A-CANDLE and to assist as many people as possible in building their own business at home or in a retail outlet. To help these people become financially independent and self-sufficient. Further more to maintain the high standard of workmanship- and quality of equipment and to develop and grow in recognition of the talents and ideas of each individual Franchisee.

• An appointment between you and us to be established, to meet each other and to discuss the Franchise agreement as it is necessary for you to see the Head Office in Cape Town .

• Fly to Cape Town for the meeting. If you purchase the Franchise, as an incentive, a once-off amount of your actual flight costs, (but not exceeding R1,200.00) will be refunded.

• One weeks training is covered as part of the Franchise Package. Travelling and Accommodation to Cape Town , for your own account.
